We have all felt and will continue to feel the impact of health care reform. Some of the obvious areas impacted are the costs of coverage brought about by the mandates which require health plans to cover more and changes like expanded coverage for dependents.

There are areas that have been affected by health care reform that may not be so obvious. The Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service continue to roll out regulations. These regulations have created increased notice obligations that will require plan sponsors to revise enrollment materials, summary plan descriptions (“SPD”), and other plan documents.  Plan sponsors must ensure that their increased notice obligations are met in a timely manner. Failure to respond to these required notices can result in significant financial penalties.

Join us for this webinar and learn about the unexpected impact these areas could have on you and your business and how to be prepared should you find yourself in the middle of a compliance audit.
