Our company’s health insurance has been with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois for many years. About two years ago, we changed brokers to Group Services. While many brokers can represent Blue Cross, Group Services has really made a noticeable difference. Because of their involvement, a number of positive things have occurred:

• Their dedicated underwriter (Brad Johnson) does a very thorough job negotiating with our insurance carriers to get us the best deal possible. Also, since they know carrier pricing techniques, they have been very helpful finding savings within other aspects of our benefit plan.

• Throughout the year, they provide helpful, easy to understand Executive Summary reports so that we know how our plan is performing.

• Our claim issues are resolved more quickly since Group Services has a dedicated team of people trained to be the advocate for our employees and our organization.

• They are very responsive, helpful, and friendly to work with.
