With more than 25 years of business experience, Lisa Charnitz is no stranger to the challenges of managing people and profit. If you ask Lisa the secret to both, she’ll tell you, “There’s no room for silos. Just like any department, an HR department must serve as a trusted advisor, helping business achieve its goals.” Lisa has earned a solid reputation for her practical, systematic, results-based approach. She strives to look at problems with fresh eyes, and to search for opportunities to maximize resources and gain strategic advantages.
Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in business administration from the University of Iowa, along with the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. She currently serves as Russell Construction’s Director of People and as Human Resource Consultant for Group Services’ partner, The Pivot Group.
Lisa serves as the Iowa SHRM State Council Director and volunteers with the Great River HR Association, Community Health Care and the Quad City Health Initiative. She resides in the Quad City area with her husband, Jim, and her two cats, Lucy and Sadie. When she’s not working, Lisa enjoys gardening, hiking, decorating and reading.
